About Us

Dr. Trishna Patel brings over 8 years of clinical experience to Weston Family Dental, along with a strong passion for providing compassionate, high-quality dentistry. She’s a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association, and was honored with the Dr. Sophia Balis Humanitarian Award for her dedication to serving underserved children in Maryland. For Dr. Patel, dentistry is a lifelong calling that started back in middle school and has been fueled by years of hands-on experience beginning as a sterilization tech and dental assistant.

Originally from just outside Baltimore, Dr. Patel earned her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Maryland. She went on to complete a Master’s in Biomedical Science at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and received her Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. To further elevate her training, she completed a General Practice Residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine University Hospital. There, she gained valuable experience treating trauma cases and medically complex patients, and developed an affinity for advanced surgical procedures.

After several years of practicing in New Jersey, Dr. Patel moved to Wake Forest, NC, where she has served patients for the last 4 years. Now as the proud new owner of Weston Family Dental — and the third Dr. Patel to lead the practice — she’s excited to continue its legacy of trusted local care while making it her own. Dr. Patel is passionate about evolving with the latest dental techniques and technology to better serve her patients, especially through services like clear aligner therapy that help patients find confidence in their smiles.

What truly sets Dr. Patel apart is her desire to build long-term connections with her patients. She takes the time to ease dental anxieties, listens without judgment, and ensures that everyone in her care feels respected and understood. Whether you’re coming in for a routine checkup or are exploring options to enhance your smile, you'll leave knowing you were genuinely cared for.

Outside the office, Dr. Patel is a big foodie who loves trying out new restaurants, desserts, and coffee shops. The more unique, the better! She’s also an avid traveler and a lifelong sports fan who continues to root for her hometown team — Go Ravens!

Dr. Patel is proud to be creating a partnership with Read and Feed, a local Wake County nonprofit that provides after-school tutoring and meals to elementary students reading below grade level. This program gives children the academic support, nourishment, and resources they need to thrive, and we’re honored to be part of their journey. Supporting education and wellness in our community is just one of the ways we hope to make a lasting impact outside of the office walls.
